25 Saudi Cyclists completed a 400-km ride from Riyadh to Al Qassim in support of Arab Orphans Day

Dur Hospitality sponsored the 400-km cycling trip organized by the ‘’Saudi Cyclists’’ group, in support of the Arab Orphan day, in which participated 25 Saudi cyclists. The initiative that was launched for the first time in Saudi Arabia kicked off on Friday, March 31 and continued until April 3rd.

In the presence of board members of the Committee of the Charitable Society for the Care of Orphans (Ensan) the partner of this initiative and many Orphans, sponsors and media representatives, the cyclist commenced their trip on Friday at 3 pm from Makarem Al Riyadh Hotel.

It is worth mentioning that the ‘’Saudi Cyclists’’ is a group of voluntary cyclists that are looking to spread the culture of biking and sports activities in the kingdom. They have made it their mission to contribute to the preservation of the environment by reducing traffic jam and pollution through encouraging biking as an alternative transportation method.

“Saudi Cyclists” group also encourages the society to adopt and organize more sports initiatives, seminars, activities, in addition to regular and weekly exercising sessions.

Accordingly, Dur’s Sponsorship comes within its relentless efforts to promote sports amongst Saudi youth and motivate them to pursue a healthier lifestyle while taking into consideration the preservation of the environment.
